柏林自由大學

柏林自由大學Free University Of Berlin ( 德語 : Freie Universität Berlin)成立於1948年12月4日，主校址位於柏林達雷姆。冷戰期間，位於菩提樹下大街的原柏林大學劃歸東柏林，受以蘇聯為首的社會主義陣營管治。為了追求學術自由，原柏林大學的部分師生出走，在美英等西方陣營的支持下在西柏林成立了柏林自由大學Free University Of Berlin ( 德語 : Freie Universität Berlin)，成為西德學術重鎮。

2006年1月，德國研究協會（DFG）和科學委員會在波恩公佈德國精英大學候選名單中，柏林自由大學Free University Of Berlin ( 德語 : Freie Universität Berlin)位列其中。2007年10月19日，德國第二輪“精英大學”評選最終揭曉，柏林自由大學Free University Of Berlin ( 德語 : Freie Universität Berlin)正式成為德國九所精英大學之一，讓許多來到德國留學的國際學生，幕名前來申請就讀。
